Our Academy
Academy Location & Premises
Alvaston Junior Academy caters for 7 to 11 year olds and shares a large green site with Alvaston Infant School. Our school is housed in a large single storey building with 12 classes and an Inclusion Hub. We are also fortunate enough to have two halls, one used for lunches and sport, the other for assemblies, breakfast club, and AJ’S after school club. We have spacious grounds and playing fields with a range of outdoor equipment including a trim trail, outdoor rock climbing area, a garden area and different areas for children to play.
